New manufacturing in a growing field.
I previously worked in administrative roles, but I wanted to challenge myself with a job involved in manufacturing.
It was just around the time the Kyoto office was established. While it might be demanding to work on the front lines of a company expanding in scale, I believed it offered an environment where I could grow, so I chose to work at ATECS.
Production management skills learned thoroughly from the basics.
During the early stages of training, I focused on fundamental tasks like sorting and categorizing returned packaging materials.
I was carefully taught how to handle tasks such as ‘filling out this document this way’ and ‘calculating and entering data into this table this way,’
which helped me understand the importance of details like customer names, product names, material names, and usage quantities.
Supporting production from order to shipment.
Within the Production Management Group of the Operations Department, we handle the entire workflow from order receipt to shipment.
For customer orders, we verify inventory status and procurement needs, then place orders with suppliers.
When placing orders, we consider lead times and the days required for molding and inspection, and also provide advance information to suppliers.
We also share information with other internal departments, maintaining conscious communication to prevent delivery delays.
What one person cannot do alone becomes possible as a team.
In our daily work, we sometimes receive requests to move up deadlines.
If all parts are ready, we can coordinate internally to handle it, but if parts haven’t arrived yet, we need our suppliers’ cooperation too.
When we meet the deadline through everyone’s cooperation and receive thanks from the customer,
I feel a sense of fulfillment, thinking, ‘Even things I couldn’t do alone, we managed to handle thanks to everyone.
By being entrusted with tasks little by little, I feel myself growing.
I feel I’m growing when tasks I learned during training are gradually entrusted to me.
While I still have much to learn, I truly feel each experience builds my foundation.
Contribute to team growth through efficient and accurate production management.
Moving forward, I aim to increase initiatives that lead to improvement activities by collaborating with various departments within the company.
I want to achieve efficient and high-precision production management, contributing to the growth of the entire team.
